FLDC explosion-proof electromagnetic flowmeter is mainly used in flammable and explosive special occasions. It is widely used to measure the volume flow of conductive liquid and liquid-solid two-phase fluid. The measurement results are independent of the temperature, viscosity, density, pressure, and liquid-solid composition ratio of the fluid. It does not affect the measurement results when the conductivity changes within a wide range. Therefore, after being calibrated with ordinary water, it can be used to measure the flow of other conductive liquids or liquid-solid two-phase fluid media without any additional correction.

SISEN electromagnetic flowmeters are widely used to measure volume flow of conductive liquids and liquid-solid two-phase fluids. The measurement principle of electromagnetic flowmeter is based on Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction. In the right figure picture, the two electromagnetic coils on upper and lower ends generate a constant or alternating magnetic field. When the conductive medium flows through the electromagnetic flux and cut the magnetic induction line, an induced electromotive force will be generated and detected by two measuring electrodes. The magnitude of induced electromotive force is proportional to the velocity of conductive medium, magnetic induction intensity of magnetic field and conductor width(flowmeter measuring tube diameter), then it will come to the medium flow by calculation.





The equation of Faraday's Law ofinduced electromotive force:E=KBDv Where: E=induced electromotive force; D=measuring tube diameter; B=Magnetic Field Strength; V=Velocity of Process Fluid(m/s); K=Proportionality Constant(It is related to magnetic field distribution and axial length.)

4.Ordering instruction It is important to know the following points before selecting an electromagnetic flow meter; 



4-1. The medium to be measured must be a conductive fluid, and it is not suitable for gas, oil, organic solvents and the non-conductive medium.



4-2. When selecting the model and specification and making order, you should provide the measurement range of the electromagnetic flow meter to the manufacturer, the manufacturer will make a flow calibration within the provided measuring range to ensure accuracy of the instrument.



4-3.The users should provide manufacturer with selection parameters, such as the measured medium, technological process, flow rate, temperature, pressure, which help to select appropriate meter.



4-4. When selecting split type electromagnetic flow meter, the users should provide wiring length requirements to the factory according to the distance from installation location of converter to the sensor.



4-5.If the user needs accessories for installation, such as supporting flanges, metal ring pads, bolts, nuts, washers and other additional requirements, please make requests when ordering goods.
